Having just checked over your blogs I have noticed that some of you have been very good, while others might not be getting Christmas present from Santa this year..... Your place on the list was determined by whether or not you are up to date with homework....
All of you need to be blogging after every lesson. There is no evidence on your blog about the work you have been doing in the last few weeks. There should be posts up there about the Introduction to the new Software - Final Cut Pro X, the advanced skill you learnt and the work you are doing on Why Does Love Do This To Me. You need to get in the habit of blogging after every class and every time you do media work in your own time.
If you want to score higher than a C you should be doing a lot of your own independent work as well eg look at more than one director, analysis more videos and how they deal with representation, apply Goodwin's ideas to more videos, look at other 'old' iconic videos.
Don't forget the basics of blogging - archive, labels, labels gadget, spelling and grammar, using a wide range of technology etc - you are marked on all of this!
The Very Good List (will get a treat on Friday)
Jack, Jessika, Sarah
The Good but still needs work List
Amy (different styles of music videos), Harmony (different styles of music videos)
The Naughty List (need to do two homework tasks)
Emily, Charlie, George, Alex)
The Very Naughty List (at least three homework tasks not done)
Eddie, Molly, Joe, Calum
It is disappointing that so many of you are already falling behind and showing a lack of commitment! You will not achieve your true potential at A2 if you don't put the work/hours in. That is the biggest factor in getting A* - B.
